Bow Wow: Debt Of $11,500 In Child Support

Rapper and TV Host Lil Bow Wow is no longer “little.” The 26-year-old opened up about his fatherhood and how he sacrificed his lavish lifestyle for his baby.

At age 16, he was enjoying flashy cars and jewelries, and an allowance of $6,000 per month. However, after 10 years, a different Bow Wow has emerged. The celebrity is now laid-back, plain, simple, and a dedicated father to his daughter Shai Moss, his child from former girlfriend Joie Chavis. Shai, who was born in 2011, and celebrated her second birthday on April 27 with a Micky and Minnie Mouse theme at Disneyland with only her Mom.

Bow Wow revealed he is still adjusting now that his daughter does not stay with him. Shai stays in Los Angeles with her Mom while Bow Wow stays in New York. Their only means of communication is through Skype and so he tries to make the best out the time he spends with his daughter.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, is a rapper, actor and singer who debuted at the age of 13 with his album Beware of Dog in 2000. In 1993, he made an appearance at a concert and was discovered by Snoop Dogg who was in the audience. It was Dogg who gave him the nickname of "Lil Bow Wow." He also starred in movies Like Mike and Roll Bounce in his earlier childhood years.

Earning a net worth of $10 Thousand, Bow Wow faced a debt of $11,500 for back child support but said he does not have enough money to pay. He revealed he only earns $4000 a month working in Birdman’s Cash Money records. He also has other debts such as over $90,000 to the IRS and $280,000 to a luxury car leasing company.

Bow Wow recently told OWN that he is continuing to strive hard to support his daughter and give her the best.
